Valencia CF Academy gets recognition at a sports gala
Diario Sport and LaLiga present VCF's Alevín A with an award for their behavior in last season’s LaLiga FC Futures
The VCF Academy has presented the conclusions of a study of its working philosophy, carried out for 30 years and representing the identity and DNA of Valencia CF.
The Directorate of the VCF Academy -Sean Bai, Luis Martínez and Marco Otero- showed the findings of this exhaustive work in an event held in the stands at Mestalla, attended by members of the youth system setup and the management and coaching staff of VCF Femenino.
The Psycho-Educational Department concluded its in-depth study in recent months with a multitude of interviews, surveys and consultations with different previous studies and scientific articles, to identify the values that define the working philosophy of the VCF Academy -and that establish the ideals to aspire to in both play and conduct.
Sentiment, Courage and Fellowship are the main cornerstones that are represented in a new graphic image in the form of a stamp, which features the club bat and the Valencia CF badge.
Along with "Educate people, develop footballers," the core slogan for the VCF Academy, the motto of "This is who we are, this is how we compete" summarises the concept of a plan designed jointly by the Directorate of the VCF Academy and the Identity Department, putting the ELITE player in focus.
The VCF Academy has been recognised in recent seasons as one of the best in Europe according to CIES Football Observatory reports, as well as being a finalist in the ECA (European Club Association) awards for its social action campaign #AcademiaEnComunidad and at the World Football Summit awards for its internationalisation strategy.
Also present at the event were the Executive Director of Valencia CF, Joey Lim, Director General of the VCF Foundation, Teo Swee Wei, as well as club ambassador Miguel Ángel Bossio and the directors of the different areas of the club.
